Aftonbladet TV 2.0 release
apegroup has done a re-design on Aftonbladet TV. The 2.0 release includes upgrades on menus, more "tv feeling" in full-screen format, better design differentiation between the web-tv and the news section, improved search and implementation of a new advertising system.
apegroup changes cage
Today is apegroup’s first day in its new office on Hornstull Stockholm. It is a lot different from what we are used to. Our old office was located in the hoods in Stockholm woods and our new is in a brand new building on the top of Stockholm Södermalm. Feel free to visit us any time, we promise a warm welcome.
apegroup speaks at Media goes Mobile
apegroup will be attending the Seminar Media goes Mobile. We will be giving a presentation of our thoughts on Media convergence: cross platform publishing between mobile applications, the web and Internet enabled TV's. The event is scheduled for the 26th of March at hotel Clarion. See you there!
iPhone hockey app for Aftonbladet
apegroup has designed and developed a new iPhone app for Aftonbladet. The application has gotten some nice reviews on App Store:
-Best Sports-app I've seen this far! Really cool that the appearance of the app changes when you change team. Nicely done with all the images of the players and fast updates during ongoing games.
Chat for live brodcasts in Aftonbladet TV
Today we launched a chat functionality that enables Aftonbladet to interact with the audience during live broadcast on their web-tv platform.
Web-tv for Berlingske Tidende
Our interactive department just put the finishing touch on the flash based web-tv app for Berlingske Tidende in Denmark. More content categories will be added to the service in the nearby future, real good since the crew became pretty addicted to those smørrebrøds!
Mobile campaign for Telia
apegroup designed and hosted Telias christmas campaign, including a touch screen adapted interface. The campaign was distributed to tens of thousands of mobile devices via SMS during the christmas holidays.
Channel transition for Adobe
Adobe has asked us to take care of the transition of Project Eagle (Adobe Channels) for full market launch in Scandinavia. This means that apegroup will take care of technical support for the development community and also be responsible for further development of system SWF's and bug fixes within the Channels Client, of course in close co-op with those English tea tottlers.
Expressen TV
apgroup has managed design and integration of the new video service for Expressen. As usual we have been a full service provider taking care of both interface design, CMS and 3rd party system integrations.
apegroup and Sony Ericsson
apegroup has started working with Sony Ericsson evaluating the upcoming Capuchin platform which is a bridge between Flash Lite and Java. It enables Flash developers to create attractive mobile applications triggering device specific functions without any prior Java skills. Lowering the threshold for application development.
